Deity Posts: 901 Group: Admin Member #3 Joined: January 24, 2009 ACCF Name Aaron ACCF Town Name Outset Friend Code 4382-6320-5108	There is no risk as long as you know what you are downloading, or you are not downloading ROMs. Make sure it comes from a reliable source, do not just go downloading torrents and such. There is an official Twilight Hack and Homebrew channel site that will give you the downloads(And application package) for your SD card. Put in your SD card, follow the instructions on how to get the homebrew channel. It will reboot your wii and you will have the homebrew channel. If you put the apps package that it came with on your SD card, you should also have a couple of games and stuff. Go to the Homebrew Browser and start downloading some stuff. No risk at all there. I just suggest never using .WAD files. Those are the only things that can harm your wii. Just stick to ROMs and you'll be fine. No risk at all. Even if the ROM would normally destroy a computer, it wouldn't harm the wii at all. So pretty much, there is not risk.

If you used a .WAD file to make a channel on your wii, you can delete it like any other channel on your wii. If its just on your SD card, just delete it from the SD card.
