If you forfeit, you admit complete defeat. Your round is over and there shall be no more matches between you and your opponent. 2. If you miss the given date of your round, you automatically forfeit. If your only your opponent misses it, you automatically win. If you both miss it. You are both automatically eliminated. 3. If there is a disconnection, a rematch shall take place. However, if you disconnect and leave, you forfeit. 4. You must follow the tournament creator's own rules as well as these. 5. The tournament creator may feel free to ban characters, items, and set the rules of the tournament. 6. The tournament creator has the right to refuse service to anyone he pleases. 7. The tournament creator does not have to participate in his own tournament, but may if he wishes to. 8. The tournament creator has the right to put up prizes. The prize may be anything he desires. Usually, this will be post count. 9. The tournament creator shall NOT change dates of rounds. He must say when each (or all) rounds will take place. Once those dates are stated, they may not be changed. 10. Deals between opponents may take place for their round. The may agree on a "No Metaknight" rule, or "No items" rule. Prize rules: Tournament creators may come up with prizes. It could be wii points, xbox gold, whatever. However, most of the time this will be post count. If you have created a tournament, and have found the winner, please IM an admin like me. I will subtract post count from you, and add that to the winner of the tournament.
